Sunderland return to action when they take on Coventry City in the Championship on Saturday.
Here are all the details you need to know about the game…
WHERE IS THE GAME TAKING PLACE?
Having claimed a point from a goalless draw at Preston on Wednesday night, Sunderland return to home soil as they host Coventry at the Stadium of Light.
The Black Cats have a poor recent home record against Coventry, having failed to win any of their last four matches against the Sky Blues on Wearside.
Last season’s game was especially forgettable from a Sunderland perspective, with Coventry winning 3-0 at the Stadium of Light last December.
WHAT TIME IS KICK-OFF?
Saturday’s game is a traditional 3pm kick-off.
ARE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE?
Yes – tickets for the game are still available via the ticketing section of Sunderland’s official website.
Adult tickets start at £36, with Over-65s from £29 and Under-18s from £14.
IS THE GAME BEING TELEVISED OR STREAMED LIVE?
No, Saturday’s game has not been selected for live television broadcast. There is, however, an EFL highlights programme on ITV4 at 9pm and ITV at 11.50pm.
However, as it falls in the 3pm blackout slot, there will be no domestic streaming available.
Radio commentary for the match will be available on BBC Radio Newcastle.
WHAT IS SUNDERLAND’S LIKELY LINE-UP?
Jobe Bellingham is still suspended following his sending off in last weekend’s goalless draw at QPR, which means Alan Browne is likely to continue as part of Sunderland’s midfield three.
Regis Le Bris changed his frontline at Preston on Wednesday night, handing first league starts to both Aaron Connolly and Tommy Watson.
That meant Patrick Roberts and Romaine Mundle dropping out of the starting XI, but the pair are likely to return against Coventry.
It remains to be seen whether goalkeeper Anthony Patterson is fit enough to return to action, or whether his deputy, Simon Moore, will continue between the sticks.
Sunderland (probable, 4-3-3): Moore; Hume, O’Nien, Mepham, Cirkin; Rigg, Neil, Browne; Roberts, Isidor, Mundle.
HOW ARE COVENTRY SHAPING UP?
Coventry have made a poor start to the season, currently sitting in 17th position in the table, and their underperformance cost Mark Robins his job in midweek.
Robins was dismissed as Coventry boss, meaning first-team coach Rhys Carr will be in caretaker charge of the Sky Blues for Saturday’s game on Wearside.
Ellis Simms and Norman Bassette both missed Coventry’s midweek home defeat to Derby because of injury, but Carr will be hoping the former, in particular, is available to line up against his former club this weekend.
Carr could make further changes, with the likes of Victor Torp and Ephron Mason-Clark pushing for a promotion to the starting side.
Coventry (probable, 3-4-3): Dovin; Latibeaudiere, Thomas, Binks; van Ewijk, Eccles, Sheaf, Rudoni; Sakamoto, Simms, Wright.
