Middlesbrough return to action when they take on Luton Town in the Championship on Saturday.

Here are all the details you need to know about the game…

WHERE IS THE GAME TAKING PLACE?

Having seen off QPR in London on Tuesday night, Middlesbrough return to home soil as they host Luton at the Riverside.

Boro have a good recent home record against Luton, having lost just one of their last nine meetings with the Hatters on Teesside.

The two sides’ most recent meeting at the Riverside came in December 2022, and saw a stoppage-time goal from Matt Crooks secure a 2-1 win.

WHAT TIME IS KICK-OFF?

Saturday’s game is a lunchtime encounter, kicking off at 12.30pm.

ARE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE?

Yes – tickets for the game are still available via the ticketing section of Boro’s official website.

Adult tickets start at £32 for non-members, with Over-65s from £24 and Under-18s from £15.

IS THE GAME BEING TELEVISED OR STREAMED LIVE?

Yes, Saturday’s game will be televised by Sky Sports and is being broadcast on the Sky Sports + channel.

As the game is being broadcast live, there will be no domestic streaming available.

Radio commentary for the match will be available on BBC Radio Tees, and The Northern Echo’s Scott Wilson will be at the Riverside providing a live blog, report, ratings, reaction and analysis on The Northern Echo website.

WHAT IS MIDDLESBROUGH’S LIKELY LINE-UP?

Hayden Hackney is available after serving a one-match ban in the midweek win over QPR.

However, with Boro having performed so impressively at Loftus Road, Michael Carrick will have to decide whether to restore Hackney to the starting line-up or stick with a midfield pairing of Jonny Howson and Aidan Morris.

Neto Borges is a major doubt after coming off at Loftus Road complaining of an illness issue. If Borges is unavailable, Carrick is likely to play Luke Ayling at left-back, with Anfernee Dijksteel lining up on the opposite flank.

Tommy Conway is expected to get the nod ahead of Emmanuel Latte Lath to lead the line again, while Rav van den Berg and Darragh Lenihan remain unavailable through injury.

Middlesbrough (probable, 4-2-3-1): Dieng; Dijksteel, Edmundson, Clarke, Ayling; Howson, Morris; Doak, Azaz, McGree; Conway.

HOW ARE LUTON SHAPING UP?

Things have not gone to plan for Luton so far this season, with Rob Edwards’ side currently sitting in 19th position following last season’s relegation from the top-flight.

The weekend visitors to the Riverside did end a three-match winless run in midweek though, with Jacob Brown’s goal securing a 1-0 win over Cardiff City.

Alfie Doughty picked up a knock in the closing stages of the win over Cardiff and is rated touch-and-go for the Boro game, with Victor Moses waiting in the wings as a potential deputy at wing-back.

Reece Burke, Mads Andersen and Reuell Walters remain on the long-term injury list.

Luton (probable, 3-4-3): Kaminski; Mengi, McGuinness, Bell; Hashioka, Krauss, Chong, Doughty; Adebayo, Morris, Brown.
