How did the players fare in Newcastle United's 1-0 win over Arsenal?

NEWCASTLE (4-3-3):

7 Pope: Didn’t have a lot of saves to make, but commanded his six-yard box superbly against Arsenal’s set-pieces

8 Livramento: Excellent in both attack and defence – didn’t put a foot wrong as he shackled Martinelli

7 Schar: Did really well against the Arsenal attack – made a number of really important blocks

8 Burn: A towering performance on his return to the side – won countless headers and tackles

9 HALL: Absolutely brilliant against Saka – didn’t put a foot wrong against one of the best players in the league

9 Longstaff: Was a massive factor on his return to the starting side – Newcastle look a much more balanced side when he is playing

7 Guimaraes: Another all-action display from the Brazilian, who covered every blade of grass at the heart of midfield

8 Joelinton: Put in a massive shift on the left-hand side, closing down, winning tackles and driving the ball forward

7 Gordon: His best display on the right-hand side – produced a superb cross for Isak’s header

8 Isak: Repeatedly unsettled Arsenal’s defenders and settled the game with a brilliant header

8 Willock: Played in an advanced role down the left, with his drive and energy causing problems for the Arsenal defence
