Newcastle United return to action when they take on Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday.

Here are all the details you need to know about the game…

WHERE IS THE GAME TAKING PLACE?

Having progressed to the quarter-finals on home soil when they beat Chelsea on Wednesday evening, Newcastle United return to St James’ Park to take on Arsenal.

Newcastle have a decent recent record against the Gunners on Tyneside, having won two of their last three home meetings with Arsenal.

Last season’s game ended in a 1-0 win to the Magpies, with Anthony Gordon claiming what proved to be an extremely controversial winner shortly after the hour mark.

WHAT TIME IS KICK-OFF?

Saturday’s game is a lunchtime kick off, with the action getting under way at 12.30pm.

ARE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE?

No – the game at St James’ Park is completely sold out with no tickets still remaining.

IS THE GAME BEING TELEVISED OR STREAMED LIVE?

Yes, Saturday’s game has been selected for live television coverage by TNT Sports.

As the game is being broadcast live, there will be no domestic streaming available.

Radio commentary for the match will be available on talkSPORT and BBC Radio Newcastle, and The Northern Echo’s Scott Wilson will be at St James’ Park providing a live blog, report, ratings, reaction and analysis on The Northern Echo website.

WHAT IS NEWCASTLE’S LIKELY LINE-UP?

Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon have both been carrying minor knocks in the wake of Wednesday’s League Cup success over Chelsea. However, both players are expected to be passed fit to line up against Arsenal at the weekend.

Jacob Murphy is a major doubt with a hamstring injury, while Sven Botman, Jamaal Lascelles and Callum Wilson all remain on the long-term injured list.

Wednesday’s game has given Eddie Howe some pre-match selection dilemmas to ponder. Lloyd Kelly did well at centre-half in the week, and could retain his spot ahead of Dan Burn, who struggled in the league defeat to Chelsea.

Sandro Tonali looked better in a central position, rather than on the right of the midfield three, while Joelinton also impressed after being pushed forward into a wide-attacking role on the left.

Newcastle (probable, 4-3-3): Pope; Livramento, Schar, Burn, Hall; Tonali, Guimaraes, Willock; Gordon, Isak, Joelinton.

HOW ARE ARSENAL SHAPING UP?

Mikel Arteta should have his first-choice centre-half pairing back together on Tyneside. William Saliba is available again after suspension, while Gabriel trained yesterday having shaken off an injury issue.

However, Ben White is a major doubt after missing training this week, and Riccardo Calafiori, Kiernan Tierney and Takehiro Tomiyasu are all definitely out.

If White doesn’t make it, Jurrien Timber is likely to start at right-back after featuring in Arsenal’s midweek Carabao Cup victory at Preston.

Bukayo Saka is back to full fitness after injury issues of his own, and is set to line up on the right of the Arsenal attack on Saturday.

Arsenal (probable, 4-2-3-1): Raya; Timber, Gabriel, Saliba, Zinchenko; Rice, Partey; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli; Havertz.
