NEWCASTLE United are at home to Brentford in the Carabao Cup quarter final.

The Magpies managed to avoid the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United and will instead host the Bees at St James' Park.

It's a great opportunity for Eddie Howe's side to go one better than last season and make the last four of the competition.

In the other quarter final ties, Tottenham are at home to Manchester United after Ange Postecoglou's side knocked out Manchester City. Arsenal host Crystal Palace and Liverpool travel to Southampton.

The quarter-finals are due to be played the week commencing 16 December, just a week after Newcastle travel to face Brentford in the league.
