6 Longstaff: Covered a lot of ground and added some much-needed bite to Newcastle’s midfield trio
7 Tonali: Looked much more comfortable playing as the central of the three midfielders – set up Isak’s opener
7 Willock: Was a big part of Newcastle’s successful pressing in the first half – looked much sharper than in previous displays
6 Gordon: Made a welcome return to the side, even if he didn’t look completely comfortable on the right
7 Isak: Scored Newcastle’s opener with a precise finish and helped set up the second with a deflected cross
8 Joelinton: Set the tone for Newcastle’s display with his aggressive pressing – looked better in a more advanced role
