REGIS Le Bris has made one change to his Sunderland side for tonight's game at Luton Town, with Alan Browne replacing Patrick Roberts in the starting XI.
Roberts drops to the bench.
Browne comes into the midfield, with Chris Rigg expected to move forward into a more advanced role playing off the right.
Roberts saw plenty of the ball against Hull last time out but wasn't at his best in the final third, with Le Bris admitting afterwards: “With Patrick it was unusual to have the ball so often in this one-v-one situation and he struggled a bit but it’s a new experience and we will improve this.
"It could be an option to change [the wingers] over because another one-v-one could cause [defenders] different problems."
Sunderland are otherwise unchanged, with Wilson Isidor unsurprisingly keeping his place in the side up-front after his winner at Hull City last time out. Eliezer Mayenda and Dan Ballard are again absent.
Luton boss Rob Edwards has also made one change, with Japan international Daiki Hashioka replacing Reece Burke, who was forced off injured against Watford last time out.
