REGIS Le Bris hasn't spoken to Sunderland chiefs about the possibility of a Stadium of Light return for Jordan Henderson in January.
Henderson only joined Ajax in January of this year after cutting short his controversial stay in Saudi Arabia, but has slipped down the pecking order in Amsterdam this season following the arrival of former Sunderland head coach target Francesco Farioli and has only started two of six Eredivisie games.
That has led to speculation of a potential return to England and a move to the Championship in the winter window, with hometown club Sunderland strongly linked during the international break.
But Le Bris says that is not something that he has discussed with Kristjaan Speakman or Kyril Louis-Dreyfus. And while he didn't completely rule out a move for the boyhood Sunderland fan, he says the January window is not currently at the forefront of his thinking.

"He’s obviously a strong and famous player," said Le Bris of Henderson, who made 79 appearances for Sunderland before leaving for Liverpool in 2011.
"At the minute, the transfer window is not open, so we can speak about many players but we don’t have the choice at the moment."
Asked whether he has discussed the prospect of a return for Henderson with club bosses, Le Bris replied: "No."
It comes as Henderson was quizzed on his future in the Netherlands and, despite the speculation linking him with a move away, didn't rule out staying with Ajax until his current contract expires in 2026.
He said: “When my contract here expires, I’ll be 36 years old. Then I see how I’m physically doing and what Ajax wants. I might end my career here. It just might be possible."
Henderson was quizzed on the prospect of moving into coaching in the future, and said: "I am thinking about it but haven't decided yet. I am focusing on the last years of my contract first."
