Middlesbrough return to Championship action when they take on Bristol City on Saturday.

Here are all the details you need to know about the game…

WHERE IS THE GAME TAKING PLACE?

Middlesbrough return from action after the international break with a home game as they host Bristol City at the Riverside.

Boro have a dreadful recent home record against Bristol City, and have won just two of their last 13 home matches against Saturday’s opponents.

Last season’s game ended in disappointment for the Teessiders, with first-half goals from Jason Knight and Matty James condemning them to defeat despite a late consolation from Sammy Silvera.

WHAT TIME IS KICK-OFF?

Saturday’s game is a traditional 3pm kick-off.

ARE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE?

Yes – tickets for Saturday’s game are available via the ticketing section of Middlesbrough’s official website.

Adult tickets for Saturday’s game start at £31 for members and £32 for non-members. Non-member prices for Over-65s are £24 and Under-18s are £15.

IS THE GAME BEING TELEVISED OR STREAMED LIVE?

No, Saturday’s game has not been selected for live television coverage in the UK.

As the game falls in the Saturday 3pm blackout slot, there will also be no domestic streaming available.

Radio commentary for the match will be available on BBC Radio Tees.

WHAT IS MIDDLESBROUGH’S LIKELY LINE-UP?

Jonny Howson and Dael Fry could be available to start for Middlesbrough, having stepped up their respective recoveries from injury during the international break.

Howson could be preferred to Aidan Morris, who has been away in the United States in the last fortnight on international duty, but Fry is likely to be on the bench at best given that he missed the whole of pre-season.

Tommy Conway was also struggling with injury prior to the international break, and the former Bristol City forward remains an injury doubt.

Michael Carrick will have to decide whether to stick with Ben Doak and Micah Hamilton in the wide positions, or recall Riley McGree, who has spent most of the last two weeks away with Australia.

Middlesbrough (probable, 4-2-3-1): Dieng; Ayling, van den Berg, Clarke, Borges; Howson, Hackney; Doak, Azaz, Hamilton; Latte Lath.

HOW ARE BRISTOL CITY SHAPING UP?

Bristol City head into Saturday’s game sitting in 16th position in the Championship table, three points and seven places adrift of Boro.

They are without their manager, Liam Manning, who is on compassionate leave following the tragic death of his baby son. Robins assistant, Chris Hogg, will be leading the visitors from the dugout at the weekend.

Cameron Pring is a long-term absentee, which means Ross McCrorie is likely to start at left-back.

Rob Dickie and Rob Atkinson are also sidelines with long-term injury issues, but Max Bird and Mark Sykes should be available.

Bristol City (probable, 4-2-3-1): O’Leary; Tanner, Vyner, McNally, McCrorie; Williams, Knight; Hirakawa, Twine, Mehmeti; Armstrong.
