NICK POPE and Fabian Schar have shrugged off their injury issues to make Newcastle United's starting line-up at Everton.
Pope and Schar were both nursing minor knocks in the build-up to tonight's game, but the pair have been passed fit to line up at Goodison Park.
That means Eddie Howe is able to name the starting line-up that kicked off last weekend's 1-1 Premier League draw with Manchester City.
Kieran Trippier retains his place at right-back, with Lewis Hall once again getting the nod ahead of Lloyd Kelly on the opposite flank.
Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton form the midfield three, with Jacob Murphy and Harvey Barnes occupying the wide attacking positions.
With Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson both unavailable because of injury, Anthony Gordon will once again play as Newcastle's central striker.
Everton are without two of their key defenders, with Jarrad Branthwaite and Vitalii Mykolenko both missing out because of injury issues.
