Newcastle United return to Premier League action when they take on Everton on Saturday.

Here are all the details you need to know about the game…

WHERE IS THE GAME TAKING PLACE?

Having secured a place in the Carabao Cup fourth round when they beat AFC Wimbledon at St James’ Park on Tuesday night, Newcastle head out on the road as they take on Everton in what is likely to prove their final visit to Goodison Park.

Everton are due to move into their new stadium at Bramley Docks at the start of next season, meaning this will be Newcastle’s last game at Goodison unless they are drawn with Everton in the FA Cup.

Newcastle have a mixed recent record at Goodison, with their last six away games against Everton having resulted in two wins, two draws and two defeats.

Last season’s game was a write-off from a black-and-white perspective, with Newcastle crashing to a 3-0 defeat thanks to late goals from Dwight McNeil, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Beto.

WHAT TIME IS KICK-OFF?

Saturday’s game kicks off at 5.30pm.

ARE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE?

No – Newcastle have sold out their entire allocation for the away section at Goodison Park.

IS THE GAME BEING TELEVISED OR STREAMED LIVE?

Yes, Saturday’s game has been selected for live television coverage on Sky Sports and will be broadcast on the Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football channels.

As the game is being broadcast live, there will be no domestic streaming available.

Radio commentary for the match will be available on BBC Radio Newcastle and BBC Five Live. The Northern Echo’s Scott Wilson will be at Goodison Park producing a live blog, report, ratings, reaction and analysis on The Northern Echo’s official website.

WHAT IS NEWCASTLE’S LIKELY LINE-UP?

Alexander Isak will once again miss out because of the broken toe he suffered in the recent win over Wolves.

Isak has missed Newcastle’s last two games, and will once again be sidelined for the final game before the forthcoming international break.

With Callum Wilson also still sidelined because of injury, former Everton winger Anthony Gordon is set to continue in the centre-forward position.

Nick Pope sat out the midweek win over AFC Wimbledon, but has been passed fit to line up against Everton, while Kieran Trippier and Fabian Schar have also shrugged off minor knocks and are available to face the Toffees.

Newcastle (probable, 4-3-3): Pope; Trippier, Schar, Burn, Hall; Tonali, Guimaraes, Joelinton; Murphy, Gordon, Barnes.

HOW ARE EVERTON SHAPING UP?

Everton head into Saturday’s game sitting in 16th position in the Premier League table, seven points and nine places adrift of Newcastle.

Sean Dyche’s side have had a difficult start to the season, throwing away a succession of leads, but claimed a much-needed first Premier League win last weekend as they saw off Crystal Palace 2-1 courtesy of two goals from Dwight McNeil.

Jarrad Branthwaite is set to remain in the starting side after returning from injury last weekend, but Jesper Lindstrom could well drop out of the starting XI after he was substituted against Palace.

That is likely to mean a recall for Jack Harrison, who did well after coming off the bench in the win over the Eagles.

Everton (probable, 4-2-3-1): Pickford; Young, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Mangala, Doucoure; Harrison, McNeil, Ndiaye; Calvert-Lewin.
