Middlesbrough return to Championship action when they take on Watford on Saturday.

Here are all the details you need to know about the game…

WHERE IS THE GAME TAKING PLACE?

Having beaten the then league leaders West Brom at the Hawthorns on Tuesday night, Boro head back out onto the road as they travel to Vicarage Road to face Watford on Saturday.

Boro ended a five-match winless run at Watford’s home ground last season when they claimed a 3-2 victory.

Riley McGree scored two goals, and while Watford battled back to level the scores at 2-2, Josh Coburn struck the winner shortly after the hour mark.

WHAT TIME IS KICK-OFF?

Saturday’s game is a traditional 3pm kick-off.

ARE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE?

No – Middlesbrough have sold all of their allocation for the away section at Vicarage Road.

Michael Carrick’s side will be roared on by a travelling contingent of 2,104 away fans.

IS THE GAME BEING TELEVISED OR STREAMED LIVE?

No, Saturday’s game has not been selected for live television coverage. An EFL highlights show will be broadcast by ITV on Saturday evening.

As the game falls in the Saturday afternoon blackout slot, there will be no domestic streaming available.

Radio commentary for the match will be available on BBC Radio Tees. The Northern Echo’s Dominic Shaw will be at Vicarage Road producing a live blog, report, ratings, reaction and analysis on The Northern Echo’s official website.

WHAT IS MIDDLESBROUGH’S LIKELY LINE-UP?

Centre-half Matt Clarke should return to Middlesbrough’s squad for the Watford game after completing his recovery from injury.

However, Rav van den Berg and George Edmundson performed superbly in Clarke’s absence at the Hawthorns on Tuesday night and Carrick might well opt to keep the pair together at the heart of the back four.

Tommy Conway remains unavailable, meaning Finn Azaz should continue in the ‘number ten’ role, while skipper Jonny Howson is also sidelined.

Dael Fry has returned to training after a lengthy injury lay-off, but will not be considered for selection until after the international break.

Middlesbrough (probable, 4-2-3-1): Dieng; Ayling, van den Berg, Edmundson, Borges; Morris, Hackney; Doak, Azaz, McGree; Latte Lath.

HOW ARE WATFORD SHAPING UP?

Watford head into Saturday’s game sitting a place and a point below Middlesbrough in the Championship table.

Tom Cleverley’s side won their most recent home game, seeing off Sunderland 2-1 at Vicarage Road last weekend, but slumped to a 3-0 defeat at Preston in midweek.

Tom Ince and Vakoun Bayo are pushing a recall to Watford’s starting line-up, while Angelo Ogbonna is expected to start after being taken off during the loss to Preston.

Daniel Bachmann and Francisco Sierralta are long-term absentees, and will not be available to face Boro.

Watford (probable, 3-4-3): Bond; Pollock, Ogbonna, Morris; Ebosele, Sissoko, Louza, Larouci; Ince, Chakvetadze, Bayo.
