NEWCASTLE United's rescheduled Carabao Cup tie against AFC Wimbledon will take place next Tuesday, October 1 - and will now be held at St James' Park.
Confirmation of the rearrangement came after a day of talks between officials of both clubs and the EFL.
Crewe Alexandra were also involved in discussions having been due to play Wimbledon in League Two next Tuesday night.
But that game has now been moved and will instead be replaced by the Carabao Cup third round clash, which will kick-off at 7.45pm. Newcastle say the tie was moved to the North East "to enable the fixture to be played".
Newcastle were initially due to travel to Wimbledon on Tuesday night but the tie was postponed after dramatic pictures emerged of a sinkhole on the Plough Lane pitch, caused by flooding in the local area.
Walkways were also flooded, with the League Two club confirming the stadium "is closed until further notice".
Newcastle said in a statement: "Refunds for supporters with tickets for the original postponed fixture will be processed tomorrow (Tuesday)."
Further ticket details are available on Newcastle's website.
