MICHAEL Carrick has made nine changes to his Middlesbrough team for tonight's Carabao Cup second round tie against Stoke City, with Harley Hunt making his full debut.
The teenager will partner Matt Clarke in the heart of the defence, with George McCormick also coming in for his first competitive start for Boro at left-back. Luke Ayling starts at right-back.
Law McCabe makes his first appearance of the season after recovering from a minor injury and will play alongside Dan Barlaser in midfield.
Sonny Finch is another academy graduate in the starting XI. He's playing on the right side of the attack, with Alex Gilbert at No.10 and Micah Hamilton making his full debut on the left.
Josh Coburn starts up-front, with Tommy Conway on the bench.
