Durham Cricket have secured two England international fixtures at Chester le Street next year.
Both the men’s and women’s teams will play at Durham's Seat Unique Riverside ground in prime summer slots.
England men will take on the West Indies in a Vitality IT20 showdown on Friday, June 6. The Friday night fixture, scheduled for 6.30pm, is set to prove popular with cricket fans across the North East and beyond and is the first in a three-match series against the West Indies, with the other games being in the south at Bristol and Southampton.
England women will play a mouthwatering fixture against India on Tuesday, July 22, the third game in a three-match Metro Bank One Day International series. With a 1pm start time in the summer holidays, the day night fixture is expected to prove popular.
Tickets for both fixtures will go on sale on Thursday, August 29 to members, with a ballot also opening that day for those who do not have access via membership and season ticket ownership.
Members have been given priority access and will also receive a discount on both tickets with men’s tickets available from just £55 and women’s tickets available from just £15. Children’s tickets will also be available for both games.
David Jackson, Durham Cricket's marketing director, said: “We are delighted to have secured two international games for 2025.
"With a Durham women’s team coming in 2025 it is exciting to be able to also welcome England women for the third year in a row.
"We are particularly pleased to have two key summer dates for the fans. Both dates should prove to be extremely popular. We expect the men’s game to be a sell out and are aiming for our biggest women’s international crowd at the venue.”
