THERE'S been a coaching reshuffle at Middlesbrough and Newcastle United, triggered by Graeme Carrick's switch between the clubs earlier this summer.
Carrick was previously Under-18s coach lead coach with the Magpies but left to join his brother Michael's first team staff at the Riverside in June.
James Marwood has now gone the other way, leaving his role as Boro Under-18s lead coach to join Newcastle as assistant coach for their Under-18 side.
And Rob Jones has stepped up to replace Marwood, becoming Boro's new Under-18s boss.

Jones was Marwood's assistant having previously led the Under-16s. He will be assisted by Stephen Harrison, who was also with the Under-16s.
Jones, from Stockton, made almost 500 appearances during an impressive playing career, which included spells at Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Sheffield Wednesday and Doncaster. He also captained Hibs to silverware.
Ironically enough after the summer reshuffle, Boro and Newcastle go head-to-head on Tyneside in the opening game of the season this Saturday.
