A football team used picturesque locations in County Durham to launch its new kit for the coming season.

Locations alongside the River Wear were used to showcase Durham Women FC's new football strips.

Durham Women have announced that the club and Vision for Education have extended their partnership into the 2024/25 season.

Vision for Education – part of The Edwin Group – are specialists in education recruitment and assist in recruiting and supplying great teachers, support and leadership staff from their branches across the country.

Their logo has been on the front of Durham’s kit for more than a decade and will once again feature proudly on the home kit during the upcoming Barclays Women’s Championship campaign.

In addition, Plastic Processing Limited will continue to work with the club into the 2024/25 season, their new-look logo adorning the front of Durham’s away shirt and also featuring on the back of the club’s home shirt.

Plastic Processing Limited is the new overarching group for the Plastic Furniture Company, who have worked with Durham Women since 2021 - and will also encompass Apollo Plastics and B2B Injection Moulding.

Based in the North East, the group has become industry leaders in supplying sustainable and long-lasting outdoor furniture for a variety of industries.

Both of the shirts were released ahead of Durham Women's opening match of the season on Sunday, a friendly at home to Liverpool Feds - which ended in a  5-2 win for Durham.
