NEWCASTLE United celebrated Sela Cup success for the second successive season after a 1-0 victory over Stade Brestois at St James' Park on Saturday afternoon.
Harvey Barnes' strike in the first half secured the Magpies the victory, with new signing William Osula making his first United start.
Osula was denied a debut goal by the offside flag, but Barnes' strike was enough.
He latched on to a Lloyd Kelly pass to curl home the winner just after the quarter of an hour mark.
