DARRAGH LENIHAN returns to Middlesbrough's starting side for this evening's pre-season friendly at Harrogate Town, but Dael Fry is once again absent from the squad.
Lenihan partners Rav van den Berg at the heart of the back four, having returned from a ten-month injury absence as he scored Boro's winner in last week's win at Gateshead.
However, Fry is once again missing, casting doubt over his availability for Boro's Championship season-opener against Swansea City a week on Saturday.
Sol Brynn starts in goal against Harrogate, with Anfernee Dijksteel and George McCormick filling the full-back positions.
Summer signings Aidan Morris and Delano Burgzorg both start this evening's game, with Josh Coburn leading the line in attack.
MIDDLESBROUGH (4-2-3-1): Brynn; Dijksteel, van den Berg, Lenihan, McCormick; Morris, Barlaser; Finch, Gilbert, Burgzorg; Coburn.
Subs: Glover, Willis, Hunt, Gitau, Lennon, Cartwright, Wilson, Hamelberg.
