Former Middlesbrough player Juninho said he hopes to see as many Boro fans as he can as he returned to Teesside.
Juninho, a beloved Middlesbrough FC legend, arrived on Teesside for a special event, hosted by The Red Radio, where he'll reunite with former teammate Craig Hignett.
He set foot back in his 'second home' just after 1pm today (Wednesday, July 31), arriving at Darlington station ahead of an appearance in Stockton tomorrow.
The Teesside icon will also be on hand to meet and greet fans on Friday (August 2), at George Bolam Foods in Sedgefield from 2pm. There, people will be able to get autographs and pose for photographs with 'The Little Fella'.
'The Little Fella' said: "It’s fantastic to be back.
"I loved my time with Middlesbrough and didn’t want to leave. It is so special for me to be here again and to meet with the fans. I hope to see as many Boro fans as I can.
"It will be emotional to meet up again with Higgy and the supporters. It will be an excellent night and I’m really looking forward to having a lot of fun."
The Boro Legends - Magic Midfielders event will be held tomorrow (Thursday) evening at The Globe Theatre in Stockton.
The audience will be treated to insights from Juninho and Hignett's time at the Riverside as the pair share stories and participate in on-stage challenges.

More fans will have the chance to connect with Juninho as additional seats have become available in The Globe theatre.
