NEWCASTLE United winger Jacob Murphy continued his fine summer form with a brace as the Magpies beat Urawa Red Diamonds in Japan.
Murphy netted twice, while Alexander Isak and Lewis Hall were also on the scoresheet in a 4-1 win for Eddie Howe's side.
Murphy was Newcastle's stand-out player in the weekend win at Hull City, when he scored one goal and created the other in a 2-1 victory, and the 29-year-old built on that display with another impressive showing.
Isak set Newcastle on their way against Urawa Red Diamonds with an early opener before Rio Nitta levelled for the J. League side.
Nick Pope then saved an Atsuki Ito penalty, and the Magpies took full advantage, with Murphy firing Howe's side ahead on the stroke of half-time.
He then doubled his tally and extended Newcastle's advantage two minutes after the break, before Hall rounded off the scoring just after the hour mark.

Howe named a strong team for the first of two friendlies in Japan, and the Magpies were boosted by the return to action of Sean Longstaff and Joe Willock. It was Willock's first outing of the summer after an injury disrupted season last year, with the former Arsenal midfielder getting 45 minutes under his belt before being replaced by Miguel Almiron, who made his first outing of pre-season after returning from an extended break.
Bruno Guimaraes wasn't involved, with the Brazilian having only linked up with the squad in Tokyo on Monday. Martin Dubravka was also missing. England duo Anthony Gordon and Kieran Trippier haven't yet reported back, with the pair due to link up with the squad next week.
The likes of Dan Burn, Hall, Joelinton and Murphy all played the full 90 minutes on Wednesday, with Harvey Barnes, Isak and Pope all getting an hour under their belt before being replaced.
The Magpies are next in action when they take on last season's J1 League runners-up Yokohama F. Marinos on Saturday at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo. The game will kick off at 11am UK time.
