MIDDLESBROUGH and Sunderland have had a number of games rearranged after the TV picks for the first five months of the season were confirmed.

The EFL and Sky Sports have confirmed all selected games for the period up to the FA Cup third round on the weekend of January 11 and 12.

Middlesbrough will feature nine times on Sky Sports between October and January, while eight Sunderland games have been impacted.

Starting with Boro, the game at West Brom on Tuesday, October 1 will be live on Sky Sports Football, as will the Sheffield United home game on Wednesday, October 23. Both games will kick off at 8pm.

The away game at Norwich has now been moved to Sunday, October 27 (3pm) and will also be shown on Sky Sports Football.

The home game against Luton on Saturday, November 9 will now kick off at 12.30pm. The home game against Hull City on Saturday, November 30 will kick off at the same time, with both games on Sky Sports +.

The trip to Turf Moor to play Burnley is now on Friday, December 6 (8pm) and the away game at Leeds four days later on Tuesday, December 10 has also been selected for live TV coverage. That's also an 8pm kick-off.

The home game against Burnley on Sunday, December 29 will now kick off at 8pm and the New Year's Day trip to Hull City is now a 5.30pm kick-off.

Finally, the February trip to Bristol City has been rearranged due to a clash of events at Ashton Gate and will now take place on Friday, February 21 at 7.45pm.

Sunderland's home game against Leeds United has been moved forward to Friday, October 4 (8pm) and the trip to Hull City will now take place on Sunday, October 20 at 3pm.

Sunderland's game at Preston North End on Wednesday, November 6 (8pm) will be shown live, as will the home game against West Brom on Tuesday, November 26 (also 8pm).

The Black Cats' game at Sheffield United has been moved forward to Friday, November 29 (8pm), while the Stoke City home game on Saturday, December 7 is now a 12.30pm kick-off.

The home game against Sheffield United on New Year's Day is an 8pm kick-off, while the visit of Portsmouth on Sunday, January 5 has also been selected for live coverage and will kick off at 3pm.

By November, Middlesbrough and Sunderland will get confirmation of all television picks for games between the end of the third round of the FA Cup and the first weekend of March.
