JAMIE Miley is making his first Newcastle United start as the Magpies continue their pre-season campaign at Hull City this afternoon.

Miley - the older brother of Lewis - featured in pre-season last summer but this is the first time he's been in the starting XI for Eddie Howe's side.

Miley is part of a strong starting XI at the MKM Stadium, with Nick Pope, Joelinton, Alexander Isak and Harvey Barnes all in the team.

Dan Burn captains the side. Summer signings Odysseas Vlachodimos and John Ruddy are both on the bench.
