Middlesbrough are in pre-season friendly action when they take on Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

Here are all the details you need to know about the game…

WHERE IS THE GAME TAKING PLACE?

Having played at Bishop Auckland and Gateshead in the last seven days, Boro head a bit further afield for their latest friendly as they travel to South Yorkshire.

Michael Carrick’s side will line up against Doncaster in the League Two side’s Eco-Power Stadium.

Boro’s last competitive outing at the ground came in the Championship in February 2014 and resulted in a goalless draw.

WHAT TIME IS KICK-OFF?

Saturday’s game kicks off at 2pm.

ARE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE?

Middlesbrough supporters can pay on the day at the gate for Saturday’s game.

Boro will be backed by around 2,000 travelling fans in Doncaster, with pay-on-the-day entry available at the Club Doncaster Academy Reception, which is situated next to the away turnstiles.

Cash or card payment will be accepted, with prices set at £10 for adults, £5 for Over-60s and 14-24 year olds and £1 for Under-13s.

Car parking at the ground is available for £3 and can be booked via the Your Parking Space app (available on Google Play or the Apple app store).

IS THE GAME BEING TELEVISED OR STREAMED LIVE?

The game is not being televised, and there is no streaming service available for the match either.

Radio commentary from the Eco-Power Stadium will be available on BBC Radio Tees.

WHAT IS MIDDLESBROUGH’S LIKELY LINE-UP?

Michael Carrick has been mixing and matching his starting line-ups so far during pre-season, and that is once again likely to be the Boro boss’ approach at Doncaster.

Dael Fry missed Wednesday’s win at Gateshead because of a minor injury issue and could find himself sitting it out once again on Saturday.

Sol Brynn was an unused substitute at Gateshead, and Michael Carrick has suggested the goalkeeper will not be involved against Doncaster, instead playing in next Wednesday’s game at Harrogate.

Darragh Lenihan scored the winner against Gateshead, but having been absent for ten months prior to his involvement at the International Stadium, Carrick is likely to limit the Irishman’s minutes at the weekend.

HOW ARE DONCASTER SHAPING UP?

Doncaster have enjoyed a successful pre-season so far, and are unbeaten in their matches prior to their meeting with Boro.

The League Two side, who suffered a penalty shootout defeat in the play-off semi-finals last season, have beaten Darlington and Spennymoor and secured an impressive 4-0 win over Hull City.

Led by Grant McCann, midfielder Kyle Hurst has been Doncaster’s key player in pre-season so far, scoring three goals in three games.
