HEMIR came off the bench to score a stunning winner as Sunderland ended their pre-season training camp in Spain with a 2-1 victory over CD Eldense.
Tommy Watson put the Black Cats in front in the first half before the Spanish second tier side hit back and levelled.
But Hemir - who failed to score for Sunderland in his first season at the club - provided Regis Le Bris with a timely show of what he's capable of with a thunderbolt from distance to secure the win.
Just a couple of days after the draw with Nottingham Forest, Le Bris chose to shuffle his pack and named a completely different starting XI, with summer signings Simon Moore and Alan Browne both starting.

Nazariy Rusyn started up-front but was joined in the attack by Hemir, who replaced Browne at half-time. And with Sunderland on the lookout for a new striker ahead of the start of the Championship season, the 20-year-old staked his claim with his winning strike 15 minutes from time.
Sunderland head back to the UK on Monday and are next in action away at Blackpool on Saturday.
Sunderland: Moore; Pembele (Hume 70’), Hjelde (O’Nien 70’), Anderson (Alese 70’), Bennette (Cirkin 70’); Watson (Matete 45’), Browne (Luis Hemir 45’), Embleton (Neil 70’), Mundle (Clarke 70’); Aouchiche (Jobe 70’), Rusyn (Roberts 70’)
