DARRAGH LENIHAN, Tommy Smith and Alex Bangura are notable absentees from Middlesbrough's first-team squad for today's friendly with Bolton Wanderers at Bishop Auckland.
None of the defensive trio are amongst Boro's 22-man squad for the game at Heritage Park, with goalkeepers Sol Brynn and Tom Glover and forward Marcus Forss also absent.
Summer signings Aidan Morris and Delano Burgzorg are present though, with the former named in the starting line-up and the latter expected to come off the bench at some stage.
Seny Dieng and Zach Hemming are Boro's goalkeepers, with Hayden Hackney, Riley McGree and Josh Coburn all present after missing the latter stages of last season through injury.
