The youngest woman to row solo across the Atlantic will deliver a motivational speech later this month when she looks to inspire the next generation.
Jasmine Harrison, from Thirsk, made history when she became a record-breaking athlete as the youngest woman to navigate the stretch of sea.
At age 21, the rower completed the 3,000-mile Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge in 2021.
The gruelling route, from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua, took Jasmine 70 days, three hours and 48 minutes and secured her a place in the record books.
She will now deliver a speech to people at LevelQ Offices at Surtees Business Centre, Stockton on July 23.
According to organisers of the event, "this is a unique chance to support an inspiring young woman and be motivated by her fascinating experiences".
Jasmine's story is filled with excitement, challenges, and triumphs.

This event has been organised for people to hear from Jasmine, network, and have a chance to ask questions and collaborate.
Jasmine said: "Sitting all alone on your life raft on the deck of your 21-foot-long rowing boat in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean at night while looking up at the stars makes you feel so small and alone.
"It is a feeling that is hard to recreate; the feeling of knowing that this is the time and place where you’re meant to be. Nothing matters because there is so much more out there."
