IS football coming home? We’ll find out on Sunday when England take on Spain in the final of the European Championships in Berlin.
Gareth Southgate’s side haven’t always been at their free-flowing best in the tournament so far, but they’ve kept on finding a way to win and have made it to their second Euros final in a row.
To celebrate the occasion, The Northern Echo is publishing a special 16-page souvenir supplement that will be published inside Saturday’s newspaper to preview the final.
Our Chief Sports Writer, Scott Wilson, gives his assessment of England’s chances, as well as weighing up whether the final is likely to be won or lost.
We’ve got an interview with Gareth Southgate, profiles of the England squad, a look at the games that have taken the Three Lions to the final and a Team of the Tournament highlighting the best players from all the teams that have been competing at the Euros.
Make sure you don’t miss it on Saturday – and come on England!
