Youngsters had a great time at the annual Darlington Angling Club open day at Cleasby Lake.
It was a highly successful day for the club with 20 people attending the day, including 16 young people.
Several different fish were caught throughout the day from brown trout to little roaches and even rainbow trout.
Christopher Noble, a committee member for the club, described the day as a "huge success".
He said: "The Darlington Angling Club has 350 members and we have the River Tees from High Coniscliffe to Croft.
"We also have a former gravel pit which has become a lake.
"It's now been surrounded by lovely trees. We have swans and osprey.
