Entries remain open for a popular North East race.
The Bottoms Up Cup, organised by Washington Running Club, takes place on Sunday, July 14.
The well-established 5k race goes in and around the picturesque Princess Anne Park in Washington and starts at 10am.
There’s also a fun run for juniors taking place at 11am.
Registration is from 9am at St Roberts School, with entry £11 (affiliated), £13 (unafilliated) and £2.50 for the fun run.
Entry includes a goody bag, with cash prizes for winners and veterans.
The run is named after Stephen Bottoms, a member of the original WRC, with funds raised for cancer charity Bloodwise on the day.
