Fans can enjoy the match in several Darlington pubs, as well as the Indoor Market which has set up a screen to display the games.
Hundreds of footy fans also packed out popular Euro fan zone Central Park, in Newcastle city centre, to enjoy the screening.
Joyous punters - dressed in an array of England tops and bucket hats - were captured punching the air as they watched Harry Kane take the squad into the lead in the 18th minute.
Also inviting fans is popular bar Avalon, which has also reopened specifically to broadcast the Euros following its recent closure.
The venue closed in February citing the cost of living and rising prices as the reason behind the blow to the town’s nightlife scene.
