MIDDLESBROUGH have continued their impressive start to the summer with the capture of Dutch striker Delano Burgzorg.
Boro have already completed the signing of Luke Ayling and are closing in on USA international midfielder Aidan Morris.
And they've now ticked another key summer box with the arrival of Burgzorg, who has joined from Bundesliga side Mainz for an undisclosed fee and signed a four-year deal at the Riverside.
The 25-year-old has Championship experience having spent last season on loan at Huddersfield Town, where he scored seven goals in 33 appearances.

Head coach Michael Carrick said: “We’re really happy to bring him in. He experienced the league last season, and we’re excited about what he’s capable of doing.
“He’s a threat and will be real asset because he has different types of attributes to what we already have. He’s a good addition to the squad and being able to get things done early means he will be here for the start of pre-season.”
Burgzorg burst through the ranks in Holland with De Graafschap, with his form in his homeland leading to a call-up to the Dutch Under-20 squad.
The striker, who also qualifies to play for Suriname, joined Italian side Spezia in 2019 before a return to Holland and then moved to Mainz in 2022.
