NEWCASTLE UNITED have reportedly made contact with Crystal Palace to inquire about the possibility of signing Michael Olise this summer.
A report in The Athletic claims the Magpies are one of three clubs to have spoken to the Palace hierarchy about Olise.
The 22-year-old forward is contracted to Selhurst Park until the summer of 2027, but the report claims Newcastle, Chelsea and Bayern Munich have all discussed his future with Palace officials.
Newcastle, who confirmed the signing of Lloyd Kelly earlier today, with the defender set to officially join the club on July 1, are known to be in the market for a player who can play on the right-hand side of their attack this summer.
The Magpies are also hoping to sign a goalkeeper, a striker and another defender, but are willing to commit a large proportion of their summer transfer budget to the acquisition of a forward who can play off the right.

Olise would fit that bill, although the former France youth international would not come cheap if Palace decided to move him on.
Like a number of his team-mates at Selhurst Park, the former Reading forward enjoyed an excellent second half to last season, scoring eight goals in his final 12 matches as he finished the campaign with ten goals to his name.
Olise, who joined Palace from Reading in the summer of 2021, also produced six assists over the course of the season.
