How did the players fare in Newcastle United's 4-3 win over West Ham?
NEWCASTLE (4-3-3):
4 Dubravka: Should have done much better with Kudus’ goal given he got a hand to the shot
4 Livramento: Spent time in both full-back positions, but was powerless to prevent West Ham’s breakaway third goal
5 Lascelles: The stand-in skipper failed to make it beyond the midway point of the first half before he was forced off with a knee injury
6 Schar: Kept on battling away despite feeling his knee in the second half – his commendable was commendable
5 Burn: Was moved into a central-defensive position after Lascelles went off, and battled away gamely
6 Longstaff: Helped get Newcastle onto the front foot in the closing stages, even if he missed a good chance
8 Guimaraes: Was a key part of the Magpies’ comeback, winning tackles and driving his side forward
5 Willock: Didn’t really offer anything going forward and was unable to contain West Ham’s creative midfielders
6 Murphy: Improved as the game wore on, and delivered some decent crosses in the second half
8 Isak: Scored two goals from the spot and also claimed an assist as he set up Barnes’ first goal
8 Gordon: Won both penalties and was heavily involved in Barnes’ winner, but picked up a needless late red card
Subs:
3 Krafth (for Lascelles, 17): Was culpable for West Ham’s equaliser as he played Antonio onside – subbed off early in second half
5 Almiron (for Livramento, 56): Lasted just 11 minutes before he was forced off through injury
7 Anderson (for Willock, 56): Made a positive impact as he made a series of breaks into the box
6 Hall (for Krafth, 56): His positive approach helped Newcastle in the closing stages
9 BARNES (for Almiron, 67): Turned the game with two superb late finishes that secured the three points
