MICHAEL Carrick has made four Middlesbrough changes for this afternoon's game at Stoke.
Seny Dieng comes back into the side in place of Tom Glover, with the Senegal international making his first start since the win at Swansea in December.
And Emmanuel Latte Lath is back in the starting XI for the first time since suffering a hamstring injury in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against Chelsea. He replaces Finn Azaz in the starting XI, with Sam Greenwood also coming into the attack in place of Sammy Silvera.
Matt Clarke replaces Paddy McNair in the defence. The Northern Ireland international drops to the bench.
Luke Ayling, Rav van den Berg and Luke Thomas make up the rest of the defence, with Dan Barlaser and Lewis O'Brien again starting in midfield.
