MICHAEL Beale has made two changes to his Sunderland team for today’s game against Plymouth.
Patrick Roberts and Nazariy Rusyn come into the side, replacing Jobe Bellingham and Mason Burstow.
Beale teased the exciting idea of starting with Clarke, Ba and Roberts in his pre-match press conference and the head coach has decided to unleash the trio together today. Roberts is likely to play on the right flank, with Ba moving inside.
Rusyn and Burstow is a like-for-like swap up-front.
Leo Hjelde keeps his place at left-back after an impressive debut at Middlesbrough.
January signing Romaine Mundle is again among the substitutes but the game comes too soon for Callum Styles, who is not quite ready to be involved after having his appendix removed last month.
