Middlesbrough are in action in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final against Chelsea on Tuesday.

Here are all the details you need to know about the game…

WHERE IS THE GAME TAKING PLACE?

Having triumphed 1-0 in the first leg at the Riverside a fortnight ago, Middlesbrough head to Stamford Bridge for their decisive rematch.

This will be Boro’s first visit to Chelsea’s home ground since May 2017, when they suffered a 3-0 defeat thanks to goals from Diego Costa, Marcos Alonso and Nemanja Matic.

Remarkably, Boro have failed to score on their last nine visits to Stamford Bridge, with a last-minute penalty from Alen Boksic having been their most recent goal at the ground back in 2001. Boro’s last win at Stamford Bridge was all the way back in March 1975, thanks to goals from John Craggs and Alan Willey.

WHAT TIME IS KICK-OFF?

Tuesday’s game kicks off at 8pm.

ARE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE?

No – Middlesbrough received an allocation of almost 4,500 tickets for the second leg and they are now completely sold out.

Chelsea have sold out the home sections of Stamford Bridge too, so it should be quite some occasion on Tuesday night.

IS THE GAME BEING TELEVISED OR STREAMED LIVE?

Yes – Tuesday’s game is being televised live on Sky Sports and will be available on the Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football channels.

With the game being broadcast live on TV, there is no domestic streaming available.

Radio coverage of Tuesday’s game will be available on BBC Radio Five Live and BBC Radio Tees. The Northern Echo’s Scott Wilson and Dominic Shaw will be at Stamford Bridge producing a live blog, report, ratings, reaction and analysis on The Northern Echo’s website.

WHAT IS MIDDLESBROUGH’S LIKELY LINE-UP?

Isaiah Jones is a major injury doubt ahead of Tuesday’s decider after he was forced off in the first half of Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Rotherham United with what appeared to be a muscular problem.

Michael Carrick remains hopeful Jones will be passed fit to play in west London, with his availability likely to be crucial in terms of dictating whether Boro line up with five at the back or a flat back four.

Jonny Howson missed Saturday’s game, but the midfielder should be available to return to the starting side against Chelsea.

Emmanuel Latte Lath remains unavailable though, meaning Josh Coburn is likely to lead the line after coming off the bench to replace Latte Lath in the early stages of the first leg.

Luke Ayling, Sam Greenwood and Finn Azaz are all cup-tied and unable to feature in the squad.

Middlesbrough (probable, 4-2-3-1): Glover; van den Berg, Fry, Clarke, Engel; Howson, Barlaser; Forss, Rogers, Hackney; Coburn.

HOW ARE CHELSEA SHAPING UP?

Chelsea are without ten senior players for Tuesday’s decider, with Christopher Nkunku and Malo Gusto unavailable.

Nkunku has been absent for almost four weeks because of a hip issue, and while Mauricio Pochettino had been hoping the summer signing would be passed fit to feature against Boro, he has once again been ruled out.

Gusto will also be absent because of injury, along with Trevor Chalobah, Marc Cucurella, Reece James and Wesley Fofana.

Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemeka and Benoit Badiashile all returned in the league win over Fulham just over a week ago, though, and should feature in the squad against Boro.

Chelsea (probable, 4-2-3-1): Petrovic; Badiashile, Disasi, Silva, Colwill; Caicedo, Fernandez; Palmer, Gallagher, Sterling; Broja.
