MIDDLESBROUGH'S Championship game at Birmingham City, which was scheduled for the end of this month, has been postponed.
Boro were due to head to St Andrew's to take on the Blues on Saturday, January 27.
However, Birmingham's FA Cup third-round replay win over Hull City this evening means they will now be taking on Leicester City in the fourth round on that date.
As a result, Boro's league game has been postponed and will have to be rescheduled.
A new date for the game against a Birmingham side now led by former Boro boss Tony Mowbray will be announced in due course.
