DAEL FRY makes a welcome return to Middlesbrough's starting line-up for this afternoon's home game with Ipswich Town.

The centre-half has missed Boro's last two matches after suffering a hamstring injury in the defeat at Bristol City.

However, he is back in the side for today's game at the Riverside, and will partner Matt Clarke at the heart of the Teessiders' back four.

In total, Michael Carrick has made four changes for today's game, with Clarke stepping up to the starting XI and both Lukas Engel and Sam Greenwood also returning to the line-up.

Fry and Clarke replace Anfernee Dijksteel, who is suspended after his sending off at Leeds, and Paddy McNair, who is unavailable because of injury.

Engel returns in place of Alex Bangura at left-back, while Greenwood is back in the side after having to miss last weekend's defeat at Leeds because of his loan move from Elland Road. Isaiah Jones, who is serving a suspension after picking up his fifth booking of the season last weekend, misses out.
