Darlington are looking for a new shirt sponsor after the agreement with this season’s backers ended early.
Nuleaf Projects Ltd have ceased trading, just seven months into their front-of-shirt sponsorship of Quakers.
Based in Newcastle, Nuleaf were described by Quakers as providing “integrated energy solutions”, when their sponsorship was announced in May.
But on Monday evening Darlington announced: “We received the unfortunate news last week that our front of shirt sponsor, Nuleaf Projects Ltd, has ceased trading.
“We have been aware of the sponsorship issue for some time, and we made provision for it in this year’s financial budget.
“Fortunately, we have now found an away shirt sponsor for the rest of the season – we are very grateful to the company concerned -- and we hope to make a formal announcement in the coming days.
“We also have provisional interest in the home front of shirt sponsorship, but we still welcome enquiries from interested parties.
“Details of our sponsorship package are available from commercial@darlingtonfc.org.”
