Newcastle's reward for beating Manchester City and Manchester United is a trip to Chelsea in the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup - while Middlesbrough will head for League One Port Vale.
Newcastle booked their place in the last eight with a brilliant 3-0 win at Old Trafford on Wednesday night, but they now face a trip to Stamford Bridge.
Boro, meanwhile, have beaten four lower league teams all away from home on the way to the last eight and will now head to Port Vale, the lowest ranked team still left in the competition.
Boro won 3-2 Exeter City on Tuesday night, while Port Vale beat Mansfield.
The quarter final ties will be played the week commencing December 18.
