Middlesbrough return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on League Two side Bradford City in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

Here are all the details you need to know about Tuesday’s game…

WHERE IS THE GAME TAKING PLACE?

Having claimed two away victories already in this season’s Carabao Cup, at Huddersfield Town and Bolton Wanderers, Middlesbrough are back on the road as they head to Valley Parade for their third-round tie.

The Teessiders played Bradford at Valley Parade in pre-season this summer, with a largely second-string side claiming a 3-3 draw with the Bantams.

Boro’s last competitive visit to the ground came in May 2001, when a goal from Christian Karembeu secured a 1-1 draw.

WHAT TIME IS KICK-OFF?

Tuesday’s game kicks off at the traditional midweek time of 7.45pm.

ARE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE?

No – Middlesbrough’s allocation of tickets for the away end at Valley Parade has completely sold out.

Boro will be cheered on by a travelling contingent of 4,056 supporters in West Yorkshire.

IS THE GAME BEING TELEVISED OR STREAMED LIVE?

No– Tuesday’s game is not being televised live. A Carabao Cup highlights show will be screened live on ITV1 at 12.05am in the early hours of Thursday, September 28. It will also be available live and on-demand via ITVX.

There is no domestic streaming of matches in the Carabao Cup.

Radio coverage of Tuesday’s game will be available on BBC Tees. The Northern Echo’s Chief Sports Writer, Scott Wilson, will be at Valley Parade providing a live blog, report, reaction, ratings and analysis via The Northern Echo website.

WHAT IS MIDDLESBROUGH’S LIKELY LINE-UP?

Matt Crooks is suspended for Tuesday’s game after he received a yellow card in each of the two previous rounds against Huddersfield and Bolton.

Rav van den Berg is a major doubt after suffering a muscular injury during Saturday’s 2-1 win over Southampton, while Matt Clarke will not be considered as he continues his comeback from a long-term injury.

Alex Bangura and Marcus Forss will also miss out because of injury, although the duo should be available for a return to action before the next international break.

Having watched his side claim their first league win of the season at the weekend, Michael Carrick will have to strike a balance between wanting to rotate and attempting to maintain the momentum that was generated at the weekend.

Middlesbrough (probable, 4-2-3-1): Glover; McNair, Fry, Lenihan, O’Brien; Barlaser, Hackney; Jones, Rogers, McGree; Coburn.

HOW ARE BRADFORD SHAPING UP?

Bradford currently sit 11th in the League Two table, with 13 points from their opening nine games. Mark Hughes’ side were in good form at the weekend, beating Newport County 4-1 at Rodney Parade.

They beat Accrington on penalties in the first round of this season’s Carabao Cup, before recording another penalty shootout success against Wrexham in round two.

Hughes is unlikely to make too many changes to his Bradford side, but Emmanuel Osadebe could replace Clarke Odour on the right-hand side, having featured as a substitute in the last game.

Taylor Smith scored in the last round against Wrexham, and will hope to get the nod ahead of Jamie Walker in attack.

Bradford (probable, 4-4-2): Lewis; Halliday, Platt, Stubbs, Ridehalgh; Oduor, Gilliead, McDonald, Tullock; Walker, Cook.
