MICHAEL Carrick has made four changes to his Middlesbrough team at Sheffield Wednesday, with Josh Coburn in to lead the line and Riley McGree making just his third Championship start of the season.
Lukas Engel and Sammy Silvera also come into the side at Hillsborough, where Boro are looking for their first win of the season.
Alex Bangura misses out through injury, with Marcus Forss and captain Jonny Howson also dropping out of the side. Lewis O'Brien looks set to drop into a central midfield role alongside Hayden Hackney.
Matt Crooks looks set to continue in the No.10 role in support of Coburn, who is making his first league start for Boro since April 2022 when Chris Wilder's side drew 1-1 at Swansea City.
Rav van den Berg continues at right-back, with Tommy Smith on the bench. There's no Marcus Forss in the Boro squad.
