NEWCASTLE UNITED have revealed the first CGI images of their proposed new fan zone, which will be situated at Strawberry Place.
The plans for 'St James' STACK, powered by Sela' were officially unveiled at a public consultation event held at St James' Park earlier today.
The event, which involved local residents and neighbouring businesses as well as members of the public, provided an opportunity for face-to-face feedback with senior Newcastle United and STACK representatives, and forms part of the formal planning process. Newcastle have also commissioned a season-ticket holder survey.

If approved by Newcastle City Council, the fan zone will provide a new offering for supporters visiting St James' Park on a matchday, as well as creating a midweek leisure and social destination.
It will be supported by Newcastle's front-of-shirt partner, Sela, and will be built using repurposed shipping containers around a central plaza and main stage area.
