The flagship event made its triumphant return this Sunday (September 10) with Sir Mo Farah joining the masses to mark his final-ever professional run.
Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe started the 13.1-mile-long route which starts in Newcastle and ends in South Shields.

Olympic medal winner Sir Mo Farah has also been photographed as he crossed the line taking time to speak to fans waiting behind the barricade.
