NEWCASTLE United midfielder Jeff Hendrick completed a move to Sheffield Wednesday in the final minutes of the transfer window.
Hendrick has linked up with the Championship Owls on loan until the end of the season - which is when his Newcastle contract expires.
Hendrick has been training with Newcastle's Under-21s, with head coach Eddie Howe making it clear the midfielder had no future at St James' Park.
Hendrick joined the Magpies from Burnley in 2020 and has made 27 appearances for the club, scoring three goals.
He joined Queens Park Rangers on loan for the second half of the 2021/22 campaign and spent last season on loan at Reading, making 45 league appearances for the Royals.
As things stand, there's been no confirmation on the situation of Isaac Hayden, another Newcastle midfielder who was available to leave.
Hayden was also set for a move to Sheffield Wednesday but that deal fell through, before Standard Liege made a play for the ex-Arsenal man.
