A Premier League footballer has been spotted buying a new car at a County Durham garage after enjoying the start of the new season.
Newcastle United left-back Dan Burn was seen on Bank Holiday Monday (August 28) at Performance 28 in Chester Le Street purchasing a new motor.
The six-foot-six defender, who has played in all three of Newcastle's Premier League games this season, is reportedly a fan of American muscle cars.

Despite enduring mixed fortunes this season, a 5-1 win against Aston Villa, followed by a 0-1 defeat to Manchester City and a 1-2 defeat to Liverpool, the footballer put football to the side over the Bank Holiday to bag himself a new car.
Announcing the news on its social media page, the Performance 28 garage in County Durham revealed that the defender would now be sponsoring him.
To make the deal official, the garage gave the left-back a Dodge Charger.
The post from Performance 28, alongside a picture of the footballer, reads: "We are delighted to announce that Newcastle United’s Big Dan Burn will be sponsored by Performance 28, driving a Dodge Challenger Hellcat supplied by ourselves.
"Dan was the perfect fit for us, being a local lad, already having owned a RAM 1500 and being a real American car fan.
"We’re sure you’ll enjoy the car, Dan. Thanks again for choosing us to supply your car."
