6 Dieng: Good early save to deny Pearson. One or two shaky moments when he flapped at crosses in the second half, but made some smart stops.
7 Van den Berg: Assured showing at right-back, not his natural position, in his first start. Versatility will be useful this season.
6 Fry: Unfortunate with the own goal but otherwise solid.
7 Lenihan: Very comfortable for the most part.
6 Engel: Solid enough debut but Huddersfield prevented him from getting forward as much as he’d have liked.
7 Howson: Makes such a difference to Boro when Howson is in the team. Helped to set the temp early on. Gets the best out of Hackney.
8 Hackney: Scored brilliant equaliser and almost created winner moments later with superb defence splitting pass. Excellent, again.
6 Forss: Bright early on, creating a good chance or Latte Lath and testing Nicholls with a shot from the edge of the area. Faded as the game went on.
7 Rogers: Linked up well with Forss and Hackney in the first half. Went close after fine individual run just before the equaliser. Looked more comfortable playing as the No.10.
6 Silvera: Bright and good flashes of threatening attack play, but should have scored stoppage time winner when he skied over from close range.
7 Latte Lath: Impressive debut. Caused Huddersfield problems with his running and movement. Went close early on twice, always a threat. Should have scored winner just after the equaliser.
