EDDIE Howe isn't aware of any change to Ryan Fraser's situation amid reports of Celtic interest in the Newcastle United outcast.
Fraser doesn't have a future at St James' Park and has been training with the Under-21s since the end of February.
The 29-year-old didn't feature at all in pre-season and wasn't given a squad number in the summer, with the Magpies hoping to offload the midfielder before the deadline.
Leeds United and other Championship clubs have been linked with Fraser over the course of the summer, before strong links with Celtic recently emerged.
But asked whether a move could be imminent for the former Bournemouth wideman, Howe said: "Not that I know of."

Fraser isn't the only senior player out in the cold who Newcastle are hoping to move on this summer. Isaac Hayden and Jeff Hendrick, who are also training with the Under-21s, are two other players the Magpies want to offload.
Howe confirmed at his press conference on Friday morning that a deal to sign Lewis Hall from Chelsea would mark the end of Newcastle's business in terms of incomings this summer and, aside from those who are training with the Under-21s and are available to leave, the head coach is reluctant to lose any senior players.
He said: "Out of the current group we have I wouldn't imagine too much movement. I'm discounting the players who aren't currently training with us, but never say never, let's wait and see."
