SUNDERLAND have confirmed their squad numbers for the 2023/24 season - with summer signing Hemir set to wear No.9 for the Black Cats.
Jobe Bellingham has been handed No.7 jersey, and with the midfielder set to have his first name rather than his surname on the back, Sunderland have told supporters who have already purchased a shirt with 'Bellingham, 7' on the back that they can be exchanged free of charge.
Recent arrival Bradley Dack will wear No.46, Nectar Triantis will be 25, Jenson Seelt 23 and Eliezer Mayenda No.12.
Nathan Bishop, who completed his move from Manchester United this week, will be No.30.
Hemir, who looks set to start up-front against Ipswich on Sunday, will have the No.9 that was worn by Ellis Simms in the first half of last season. Leon Dajaku had Bellingham's No.7 last season.
